Booksellers take pre-orders into account when ordering copies for their shelves... your single book purchase could help sell multiple other copies! And, all pre-sales get rolled into the numbers for the first week of sales... which is how books get on bestseller lists and rankings. So, when you pre-order a book, you are boosting an author in many ways!

If you pre-order the book, send me a message via my contact form with your mailing address, how many copies you have purchased, and where you bought them. I'll mail you a signed bookmark (one bookmark per copy) featuring Hidden City art and a super special surprise that only pre-orderers will get.

If you're a librarian pre-ordering Hidden City for use in your library, send me a message via my contact form with your library mailing address. I'll mail you a beautiful (folded for mailing) poster, 15 bookmarks, a librarian-only thank you surprise, and a super special surprise that only pre-orderers will get.

If you're a teacher pre-ordering Hidden City for use in your classroom, send me a message via my contact form with your school mailing address, the grade and/or subject that you teach, and how many kids are in your class. I'll mail you a beautiful (folded for mailing) poster, a class set of bookmarks, a super-special surprise that only pre-orderers will get, and a letter to your class. (If you are using the book for a specific unit or lesson and would like the letter to touch on it, please just let me know!)

To be included in this giveaway, you need to contact me no later than March 7th, the day before Hidden City comes out. All of these gifts are while supplies last, but my gratitude will go on and on!
